Trumps 21st Birthday - Champagne Pairs
We celebrate the 21st anniversary of Trumps opening on 5 October 1988. Probably Sunday 11 Oct, 10am to 4.30pm: Champagne Pairs - Drink, pairs, bbq and beverage, pairs, $20/$30 (subsidised for members).

3 November 2009. On the first Tuesday in November, Trumps is gripped by race fever. Champagne, juice, sweeps, lunch, hat prizes, TVs, lots of fun, choice of Open or Intermediate. $30/$35.

New Year's Eve Party
We celebrate the arrival of the new year with drinks, bridge, supper, and fireworks (well, on TV).
At the start of 2001, we ran a speedball from midnight to 12.30am and winners, based on speed and scores, were Don Mullineux & Mary Harrington, who have not met received any challenges to our claim that they were the first duplicate winners of the new millennium.

Brentwood excursion

They are now under new management but we may still have a day for open players perhaps 15 March 2010 (in 2009 was Sunday 1 February). Trumps and Brentwood Village combine to present a fun lunch and bridge day on the Central Coast - and it is free to members or just $10 for others! 10am coach pick-up from Trumps or Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club. Noon lunch at Brentwood Village. Followed by a bridge game, the "Brentwood Village Cup". Non-bridgies who wish to join us may do other activities while the rest of us play bridge. Fully booked in 2009, so book ahead.

Interclub day

Held in 2009, the following event resulted in a tie: Sunday 31 May at Trumps at 1pm we have a Trumps versus Social Bridge fun event. Open or Novice sections available, including a prize for the top pair from our 2009 beginner classes! Afternoon tea, bridge, drinks, nibbles, $12/$15.

Handicap Teams
not yet scheduled. Come along as a pair and we'll form you into teams, or bring your own four. Handicaps will be assigned based on masterpoint ranking. Held occasionally. We normally dine at a local restaurant beforehand.

Swiss Pairs & Supper
7.15pm Friday in 2008, date to be determined. Play bridge and socialise. A suitable introduction for first-timers to Swiss Pairs, where you play as a pair but with IMPs scoring. $15/$17 per person.

Draw Teams
held occasionally. Come as a pair for any of these sessions. At 7.15pm each night there is a tip for open players (focussing on teams tactics on the teams nights), followed by bridge at 7.30pm.
