Timetable  

No need to book for regular games but please book for Red points, and parties.
Partners provided for most sessions.
Table money: $8 members, $10 non-members. Afternoons $3 off if you played/paid in the morning.
Membership: $50 a year ($51 by credit card) plus $40 joining fee. No extra charge for ABF levy.
Bridge as normal on most public holidays but Good Friday is a congress day and we have a special program Xmas to New Year.


Monday 10am: Supervised intermediate duplicate in Spit Rd room (finishes 1pm).

10.10am: Duplicate (finishes 1.10 pm).

1.20 for 1.30pm: Supervised duplicate for newer players in Spit Rd room (finishes after 3.30pm).

1.20 for 1.30pm: Intermediate duplicate in main room. Quick tip then duplicate (including set hands, analysed later). Winners on ratings (handicap).

7.15pm: Intermediate duplicate (to 10.15pm) commencing with a short talk, in main room.

7.15pm: Supervised play for new and improving players, commencing with a talk.
Tuesday 9.45am: Supervised intermediate duplicate (finishes 12.45pm).

10am: Short talk then duplicate (10.10am) in Spit Rd room (finishes 1.10pm).

1.20 for 1.30pm: Short talk at 1.20pm followed by duplicate (finishes 4.20pm).

7.20pm: Short talk followed by duplicate at 7.30pm (separate "Chardonnay" section in Spit Rd room).
Wednesday 9.45am: Supervised improvers duplicate (finishes 12.45pm) starting with a short talk.

10am for 10.10am: Duplicate preceded by a short talk after 10am (finishes 1.15pm).

1.15 for 1.30pm: Social Intermediate duplicate preceded by a short talk at 1.15pm (finishes 4.15pm).

1.30pm: RED (or GOLD) POINT events (finishes 4.30pm).

7.15pm: Talk then Intermediate duplicate (7.30pm, finishes after 10pm). Not supervised but flipper allowed.

7.25pm: Swiss Pairs. Usually four 6-board matches, with expert analysis while waiting for the new draw, finishing around 10.45pm.
Thursday 10am: Supervised duplicate for improvers in Spit Rd room (finishes by 1pm).

9.45am: Intermediate duplicate in main room. Quick tip then duplicate (including set hands, analysed later). Winners on ratings (handicap).

1.20 for 1.30pm: Duplicate after a short talk at 1.20pm (finishes 4.15pm).

7.20pm: Short talk followed by duplicate at 7.30pm in Spit Rd room. Finishes 10.30pm. Supervised for newer players currently held in other room.
Friday 10am: Supervised intermediate duplicate after a short talk in Spit Rd room (finishes 1pm).

10.10am: Duplicate with lunch break (finishes around 1.25pm).

1.20 for 1.30pm: Intermediate duplicate preceded by a talk at 1.20pm in Spit Rd room (finishes 4.15pm).

1.45pm/2pm: Supervised Improvers or Lessons. Finish approx 4pm or later.

7.30pm: Duplicate. We dine locally beforehand - email us now at trumps@trumps.net.au and we can email you each week to let you know where.

7.30pm: Occasionally Lessons are held in the Spit Road room. In mid-2009 we started Supervised for newer players but this is by arrangement - please contact us if you would like to participate.
Saturday 10am: Spit Road room: Lessons some Saturdays. Grand National Pairs in May.

1.30pm: Spit Road room: see Lessons page – Developers' coaching or Lessons almost all Saturdays. $11/$14.

1.30pm: Duplicate in main room (finishes by 4.40pm).

Sunday Lessons, events (congresses etc) or parties on many Sundays.

Supervised Play
Supervised sessions start with a talk, typically around 20 minutes. The rate of play is slower and you may ask questions or consult your flipper. The supervisor is usually Gabbie Pitcher, Will Jenner-O'Shea, Ed Barnes or Derrick Browne.
